Background
Castle Hill Hospital is a major healthcare facility serving Hull and East Yorkshire. Renowned for clinical excellence, the hospital modernised corridor lighting, replacing obsolete fluorescent fittings.
Work undertaken
Powerlite Fitzgerald designed and manufactured bespoke UGR-19-certified LED panels to match the hospital’s unique fixture sizes. 135 custom panels, with 45 emergency fittings, were installed.
New lighting reduced glare, enhanced visual comfort, and created a positive calming environment. It also delivered a 72% energy saving, boosting sustainability while ensuring safe, compliant lighting.
